I like being first through the door and its not just about beating traffic. It's a thing I have for efficiency. Find the fastest route and test it. Challenge it. If we get the chance to work together, I tend to over-communicate at the outset any new project. It's my best way of getting to know the team and the work ahead. I appreciate great coffee, am pro fancy coffee creamer and not afraid to share. Away from the desk I am a lifelong student of marketing, a mentor to some younger people in the industry and I experiment with 3D and 360 stills and video editing for enjoyment.
While my preference is to work remotely from my home base in Portland, OR., on-site projects are always welcome. There are delights of being on-location; the ease of meetings and collaboration, a more personal experience with constructive criticism, and the comradery among creatives. I get excited about the challenge of a new role and meeting others. My attitude is no matter what position I am needed in, I'm going to execute while trying to make the position better, even if it's a lower one than I'm used to. Travel is adored, especially in shorter stints. I am fine in any English or Spanish-speaking country. Gravitating toward commercial athletic imagery, the type of work that attracts me is the different. The dramatic and creative. And if experimental, I'm definitely in.
