I like assignments that give direction and grants some autonomy to explore a bit. The client's ask here was to have the subject emerging from warm darkness and boldly approach the cold and the light. The challenge they came across was finding background imagery that would enhance the story without pulling attention away from the product. To answer the challenge, I used 3D software to create cave walls and a rocky floor. Matching light direction from the original image helped place the subjects in their new environment.
