There are several descriptions to call the work I do, but my actual job duty is problem-solving and option-giving. Like sometimes the wrong style or color arrives the day of the shoot. Just changing one color to another isn't too difficult, but Nike's colors are exact, down to the numbers in fact. Colors will have to match those same colors of another image that you didn't work on the same page. To get this right I mask out each section individually and process it to 50% grey or 128 grey through curves and threshold layers. Then I can dial in Nike's specific colors using a dedicated curves layer. Some even require entire texture changes and even things like glitter needed to be added. A quick layer of contrasty, blurred noise does the trick.
